Blue Ridge Area Health Education Center is proud to announce a new service called the

Rural Georgia Broadband Network

This service is available to all ELIGIBLE* health care providers in Georgia.  Utilizing the Federal Communication Commission’s Rural Healthcare Program, the Healthcare Connect Fund (HCF), the Rural Georgia Broadband Network is a consortia of health care providers which enables rural and urban facilities to take advantage of Federal subsidies on broadband services and equipment.

We can help your organization save 50% on your broadband connections and equipment!

Who Qualifies?

  • Must be Non-Profit
  • Rural/Urban Hospitals
  • Health Departments
  • Rural Health Clinics
  • Mental Health Clinics
  • Rural/Urban Community Health Centers/FQHCs
  • Post-Secondary Educational Institutions (teaching hospitals and medical schools)

What Services Qualify?

  • Broadband Services – Monthly recurring charges
  • Network equipment including routers and switches – purchased or leased
  • Installation

Security – Firewalls & Intrusion Prevention Systems

What We Do

  • Act as the Consortium Leader
  • All Administrative functions including RFP development, bid review, invoicing
  • All FCC forms submission to obtain subsidy

*Healthcare Connect Fund eligibility is determined by the FCC
