Achieving Industry Certification in the Healthcare Science Education Program

Course Description:

This  1-Day workshop will be held the Friday of the HSTEA – TIEGA Winter Conference, in the city of the conference (TBA). It provides support to teachers to successfully achieve industry certification.  Sharon Norman also provides one-on-one support throughout the year.  It is very important to work directly with Sharon each month starting in September until the On-Site Evaluation. Teachers use benchmarks to complete the parts of the standards, placing documentation to support the standards (Program Operational Standards (POS) and the Program Curriculum Standards (PCS)/Courses/Pathways/GPSs) in portfolios/notebooks.

5 PLU / 50 hours  – inclusive of work on materials, documentations, and completion of the On-Site Evaluation.
