Young PeopleOur summer programs offer students the opportunity to explore the many different fields of health care through being exposed to shadowing, hands-on health care activities, guest speakers, and/or cooperative activities. Shadowing provides the opportunity to observe actual health care professionals on the job. This experience will add a real-life perspective in your pursuit of an interest area. You will also participate in several activities designed to give you hands-on experience and cooperative skills needed in the health care environment. Guest Speakers will offer valuable information on health careers, financial aid, professionalism, employability skills, academic requirements, and other professional advice. Cooperative activities will give students experience in areas such as: teamwork, communication, and cultural sensitivity.

Applications are now being accepted for this year’s Health Careers and Leadership Academy to be in Rome. Don’t let your child miss out on this opportunity to explore health careers and get hands-on experience in their field of interest!  Camp participants will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis based upon successful completion of application packet.
