Shadowing provides students an opportunity to see first-hand a career of their choice. The student will experience duties performed and interact with staff but will not participate in hands-on care in clinical areas.

1. Complete the electronic Shadow Request Form.
   
   
2. Watch the online Floyd Orientation Slideshow Presentation and then fulfill Floyd’s education requirement by completing the online Non-Employee Orientation Quiz and submit a passing score of 85. The orientation quiz consists of 50 questions. Please allow 30 - 60 minutes to complete the course.
   
   
3. Download and complete the Shadow/Observer (3+ days) packet.
   
   
4. Fax the completed Shadow/Observer (3+ days) packet to Blue Ridge AHEC at 866.521.1542. If you have any questions call Michelle Evans at 706.509.5136 or 706-676-8797.
