Why focus on small gifts? Don't you get larger gifts from corporate sponsors, foundations, and other donations?

We will be grateful for the support of many contributors: individual donors, corporations, and foundations. Large or small donations are welcomed. This campaign is focused on supporting our students - a larger amount of smaller gifts could have the same impact as a larger corporate gift. We realize everyone is challenged these days, from government to small businesses to individuals like you. By contributing as little as $15, you can be a part of helping support our educational programs and initiatives, while also helping to expand our community of health professional-lovers.

What will my gift do for the Blue Ridge AHEC?

Your support goes directly to the Blue Ridge AHEC Student Support Fund, which helps support educational programs including the expense of camps, scholarships to attend the HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) state and national conferences; college student housing while in outreach community-based clinical training rotations; college student travel to clinical sites; webinars, and other educational programs. Your gift goes directly to our health care educational programs’ support: we really are your AHEC in northwest Georgia.

How can I pay? And how do I get a receipt for tax purposes?

You may pay via Pay Pal. Or you may send us a check. You will receive a letter from us listing your donation. Blue Ridge AHEC is a 501c3, not for profit, charitable organization, supporting healthcare educational programs. .

I want to give online by credit card. How do I get a receipt for tax purposes?

Your gift is routed through a shopping cart just like any other online purchase. Once you complete the transaction, you will be directed to a confirmation page, and a confirmation email/donation receipt will be sent to the email address you provided. Be sure to print and save this receipt for your records. Also, don’t forget to let your friends on Facebook and Twitter know you’ve made your donation – your receipt will have links to both web pages, so you can spread the word!
